Ravioli Soup
This is a serious ravioli recipe!!

You will need:
1.362 kg lean GROUND BEEF
3/4 cup BREAD CRUMBS, soft
90 g. 1/4 cup PARMESAN cheese grated
2-1/4 t ONION SALT
6 CLOVES GARLIC minced
45 ml- I T OIL olive or vegetable
1-1/2 cups ONION finely chopped
2385 ml TOMATOES CRUSHED in puree
525 ml TOMATO PASTE
1290 ml BEEF BROTH or BOUILLON
690 ml 1 cup WATER
1-1/2 t SUGAR
1-1/2 t THYME leaves dried
3/4 t OREGANO leaves dried
3/4 cup fresh chopped PARSLEY 1
020 g frozen RAVIOLI no sauce
Grated Parmesan cheese

Brown the ground beef in a large pot; combine remaining ingredients except frozen ravioli and additional Parmesan cheese. Bring soup to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool, put in container, and freeze.

To prepare for serving, thaw soup base and put in a large pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Thaw and cook ravioli according to package directions until just tender. Drain ravioli; add to soup. Salt to taste. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
